Thread: A sad day

    Default A sad day

I regret to inform you all, my friends, that at 1435 EDST yesterday, I lost my loving wife. She had been in the hospital the last week with what was initially pneumonia, but a couple other issues cascaded in. She passed peacefully as I held her hand, with her sister, and 2 very old friends there also.
I ask for prayers for her, and understanding if I am here irregularly.

So sorry to learn this news, Karl. Although your last note to me did hint this was coming, it's never the right time. As you come to grips with everything, remember that Dorothy is at peace and pain-free now. As Neil said, you have many friends here - rely on us as you need.

    Always the best,
    Matt

So sad to hear this news. My heart goes out to you and Dorothy. Life can be so cruel at times, at least now she is free from the pain and distress that has darkened your lives for some time now. There are many of us at the Aerodrome that are here for you. Please don't hesitate if there is anything we can do.
    Sincerely, Peter
