I need a drink: Lost most of my collection to a fire :-(

July 27th, 2018 was a bad day. We had a house fire that attacked our garage and the attached man cave and created pretty much a total loss situation for our family. I'm almost done clearing the house, and after losing all my 1/300 and 1/72 scale aircraft too, I've started rebuilding the WOW / WOG collection so I can maintain my sanity.

The time stamp is the default for the old camera that survived. One surprising survivor was Big Bertha, our Pacific Northwest Squadrons monster that had been mothballed after attending a dozen different gaming events, and hunkerd down on a low shelf in the garage.

I well remember when Chris Rogers lost his entire collection in a house fire some years ago James. it was a great blow indeed.

Even if there were, replacement isn't impossible. As others have said, please give us a list of losses.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Make sure to post a memo in the hanger that the ground crew SHOULD NOT smoke while refueling the Aircraft.
