We've started using home brew (Fueled?) fuel rules, that when a plane chooses to, he drops his external tanks, and on the turn after that, has forty points to spend on manuvers, low speed taking one, and high speed taking two, and when the plane gets to forty, must turn and head straight off the board, to have fuel to make it to base. Any turning back into the fray, and the plane counts as a loss, for not having the gas to get back.
Does any one else use rules like this, and if so, do you give extended fuel for double engined planes, or have a system to base on one planes greater fuel capacity?
