The Wright Flight is at it again!

If it's the Second Saturday of the Month, then The Wright Flight is at it again at Epic Loot...that means this coming Saturday we'll be flying the unfriendly skies trying to send one another crashing to the earth...

We have been on an anniversary of 1917 game plan, so I imagine we'll take to the skies in some July 1917 crates. The doors open at 11AM, and we should be up and at 'em by 11:30 at the latest. Come join us if you can! If you need directions to Epic Loot in Centerville, Ohio, PM me and I will happily direct you.

Apologies on the delay in posting pictures...

The July session had lighter turn out with only five players, but we packed in a lot of flying for the afternoon.

As Matt indicates, the centerpiece event was a 1917 clash pitting Albatros D.II and D.III against French SPAD XIII, Strutter and BR14.



We next played a smaller event with the SPADS and Albatros D.Va along with a Halberstadt CL. II



But wait there's more...

A quick game intercepting a Gotha G.V on a day raid. The interception went into a cocked hat when the Strutter exploded and the Camel turned away from the bomber, allowing it to escape down the coast.


That went quick, so another two matches were played, this time we flew poorly and - in turn - each side ran off the table. Though to be fair, I was just being stupid when I did it. Bill had the defense of taking both left and right rudder hits.

Lastly, we retreated to the time of the Fokker Scourge and flew the slower, less nimble planes around, with the two-on-one weight of fire resulting in the Fokker falling from the skies.


Looking forward to the next opportunities to play in August and September!
