Default Just finished 2 DH 2's

Well, got these a few months back and just finished them tonight.

Decals were gotten from our own decal maker here on the website (miscmini). Sanded them with a flexable u Sander. put at least 6 coats of floor polish on em, then Spray primed them white. After painting used 2 different washes #1 floor polish and black paint thinned down, #2 was soft tome army painter wash. Followed up with the decals, used decal solvent to flatten em, then dusted the figs before a layer of Testors Dullcote. Paint job was copied off one of the Old WOW cards (OK..so the number on the wing should have been red). Soon as I get dedicated stands for em they are ready to fly.

Like the weathered look, Ken. They look ridden hard and put away wet.

Nice ones, but they look a little bit "too used" for Western Front D.H.2s.

    Some rep on the way...

    Tikkifriend,

I use model P3 primer From Privateer Press (WTH am a ex pressganger)
Paints were Valiao (Sp) Model Colors
First wash was Future floor pollish heavely thinned down with black paint added.
Second wash was Army Painter Soft tone wash (Small bottle , water based)
Dust was the Tamiya compact dust kits.
Then Testors Dullcote varnish to finish it off (Never liked the glossy look)
