    Default Claymore 2017

Well I`ve been a bit AWOL recently due to a lot of Real life/Work stuff going on but I can confirm now that we have a table booked for Edinburgh now. https://seswc.co.uk/2017/02/09/claymore-2017/
As usual if anyone is intending to come and wants to help out just get in touch with me.
I was thinking of doing some WWII themed games this year.

What are the dates Rob. I may yet be able to make it but cannot promise much as I've only just started driving and I'm not doing terribly well.

Its the 5th of August if you can make it Niel, but I know you`ve had health issues recently so I wasn`t really expecting you to manage it this year.
This is a really good excuse though for a meet-up for some of the recent S of Scotland joiners of the forum to get together and help out if you can.

Good to hear that you are doing Claymore again this year Robert.
I trust that you will be well supported from among the Scottish pilots.

    Rob.
Here`s hoping, I`m thinking of doing a WWII BoB based rolling game something like last years `June 1916` one.
I have enough kit to do this, particularly if some of the new WWII planes I`ve ordered arrive on time.

    Sounds great Robert.
Only wish I had the time to make it up there.

Robert if the Canterbury drive goes ok then I may well make it. I'm driving down there over 2 days to pick my son up from university in 10 days time. Once back I wil confirm wether I can make it up to Calymore or not.

    Neil

PS: If I can, I can bring ME109, Hurricanes, Spitfires. All my HEIII's and ME110's are done up for Malta and Africa unfortunately.

If you can just manage to get yourself up and perhaps bring up the banner Neil that would be fine. I`ve got enough planes to cover us for the BoB I`ve three HEIII`s in BoB markings with another three as Russian front if we need more. Also a couple of II0`s in BoF/BoB markings.

Hi Rob, Not had much time for WoG this year so not been on the forum since last summer. If Claymore is still going ahead the boys are keen on coming again. I've never played WW2 before but happy to come along and support.

Looks like I`ll be running the table myself this year but I`ve got things covered. If the boys want to fly a Spitfire or Hurricane against the Luftwaffe then I can provide the models. I`ve been buying a lot of the new squadron packs recently and decaling them up as 303 and 610 Squadron aircraft and also picked up a copy of the new BoB intro pack which is nice. Two spits and Two `109`s plus the current updated rules.
A bit pricey but a good way to get into the WWII rules if you are so inclined.
Ive also got plenty of Stuka`s, He111`s and Ju88`s for them to shoot at as well.

Managed Ok, a bit hectic, I didn`t get to see much else of the show and hardly had time to sit down!
We got some good games going though and I got some good photos on my tablet, I`ll post them once I figure out to transfer and upload them,
In the meantime heres a few I managed to post on to Facebook.

Yes, those consoles look quite nice. A bit big for the gaming tables we use, but I can see options
