Pretty.... well pretty big anyway - seen it in the flesh at Reading - an awesome beastie.
Nice pics Rob

Absolutely superb. I just can't wait til mine arrives
The usual really good work, Rob!

Excellent work. It looks much better than the real thing.
I've always had trouble with full body decals.
I'm sure you'll made a good model with your.
I'm not a good modeller I don't dare to assemble and picture it but it's really wonderfull.
I'm waiting the bomber minis announced by Angiolillo.

Now... just imagine one of those monsters with some cow spots on the wings....

Your all just Staaken raving mad. Its actually a load of old bull shine.
That made the little dog laugh as well. And before Bumblie says it, I am an expert in recognising bull when I see it. Glory only knows, I give enough of it out.

Where can we pre-order? I have been on the site and there is nothing about this plane anywhere.
Interesting snippet about this huge beast:
"The largest aircraft to ever bomb Britain was the Zeppelin-Staaken R.VI of 1917. There were a total of 18 built, of which at least 11 are known to have been destroyed in WWI. . however only one of these was due to enemy action, the rest were lost in accidents."
Having just assembled my HP O/400, I now must have a Staaken. I've got my Windsock data file already, and I'm in the middle of modifying the lozenge sheet I did for the Gotha. By the way, I've uploaded that but it hasn't been approved yet.
My only question is, why have they put such heavy sculpting on the wing skin? It should be almost smooth. I should have sanded the wings on my HP, and I will on the Staaken.
What a monster,
What is the wingspan, I don't know if it would fit on our gaming table.
Might have to have a rolling terrain with every thing moving in relation to the Straaken.

I also have just finished assembly of my Handley Page, the undercarriage was a *********************************** to build ( * = a lot of anglo Saxon adjectives)
Now want my Staaken.
Will post pic of my humble effort next week, shift days this weekend so dont get much time
What!? Surely you meant shifts at the Zeppelin factory working on the Staaken. Priorities old chap, priorities.
