Nice video.
Thank you.
The box is heavier because of the Ares Games catalouge inside.
...and maybe some additional pages in the rulebook.
Voilą le soleil d'Austerlitz!
What more could we ask for?
No don't answer that!

Guys don't forget to go to his channel and subscribe, help it grow and spread the joy of WoG!
Thanks for the video. Now I need the box to arrive and have a hands on unboxing.
Are there any changes to damage counter distribution? Does the altitude matrix include all planes now like the PDF on the website? Any significant game changers from the rules and accessories pack?
I think the Starter is the only thing I am going to pick up from this release. I hope that everything (except the rule book) is just duplicates of the components I already have so this can be kept separate as my demo box.
I'm having my first game of it tonight so will see if I can figure out the changes then.
Another great job, Evan.
it's nice to see our friends down under get to go first for once.
Well done, Evan! That was a good video.
heres another battle of britain demo video filmed in a british columbia aviation museum!!! enjoy.

Another very interesting video Phillip.
The museum has some very interesting items by the look of it.

Having managed to avoid the obvious temptation to buy this set I've just noticed that I have Christmas / Birthday (they are very close together) money in the form of Amazon Gift Cards so I've bitten the bullet and succumbed!
What I still don't understand is that the cheapest one I could find, on Amazon, is coming from the good old US of A and with 'free postage and packing'.
Sounds as if you have hit pay dirt Reg.

Today I received another "Battle of Britain Starter Set" from the Herr Oberst.
Even taking into account P&P and Customs charges, it is still cheaper than a domestic purchase.

Are the Spits and 109s different to the ones originally released for Wings of War?
So even that I already own all old Wings of War miniatures (four Spits and four 109s) I won't have double markings if buying the BoB box?
Very good Thank you Robert and Rob
Nicely done unboxing video! Thank you for posing on YouTube to promote our favorite game!!
My uncle gave me a similar letter opener (it may have been given to him by my father, I forget the story behind it). So Guadalcanal if my uncle, Australia/Phillipines for my father.
Both my Grandads were in PNG region, one was an NCO at Kiriwina, the other who had this letter opener was a beaufort pilot, I assume at Port Moresby? I need to research where he was based one day
Is the "Limited Ammo" card for the Bf109s included in this box? If yes is there something special for the Spitfires too?
"Spluttering Engines" will fit to the Spitfires because it hat to roll on it's back to dive (if it does not the engine could cut out) while a Bf109 just could dive without rolling.
