King Kong?

Has there been any update from Crooked Dice concerning their production of the Great Ape? I've seen the resin 'proof' copy they've posted online, but their website doesn't have any sort of info on when we'll be able to order it. It really looks like the perfect size for our gaming purposes...

Any info from you Brits closer to the source would be appreciated!

Thanks, John! I just happened to visit their website looking for a potential update last night before turning in...and I discovered that he is now available! I shall look to see if anyone stateside is carrying it, and, if not, I'll order one from the UK. Thanks for posting the update here

Received my copy of the Great Ape today - great service from Crooked Dice! - and it's a beautiful figure. I will post pics when I have painted him - just glued him together a little while ago, and there is a little bit of filling needed to match things completely.

While the figure seems a bit small vis a vis the planes available to us from Ares, scale-wise it probably really IS the right size - the ape's palm would easily comfort a Fay Wray in 1/144 scale...I look forward to playing with him on the table-top!

found one at Universal Studios. Does anybody know how big the figure should be to keep in scale with the planes

This one has Kong on all fours

P.S. since he's on all four it is easier to measure just the body length if anyone knows. Thank you for your help

King Kong is one of my fav animated movies, playing it on a tabletop would be the cream on top!!! I will be be getting a "Giant" Ape shortly!!!

Here in the USA we have been working on this King Kong Scenario for almost 8 months. We put him on an Island instead.We have all finished the playtest and sent off to Andrea. He promises to try our playtest in the future and give his insights hopefully it becomes public and something every can own
