Thread: Today is Australia Day!

  1. #1

    Exclamation Today is Australia Day!

Down here it is the 26th January & we celebrate Australia Day as it is the date in 1788 that Captain Arthur Phillip & the First Fleet carrying free settlers, soldiers & convicts arrived in Sydney Cove to commence the settlement of the then British Colony.

So please join me in raising a toast to those intrepid people.

We still hear Australia's Heroes Marching! Good day downunder friends! Will surely have a glass of the finest Banrock Station tonight on that occasion.

Banrock Station tonight as promised, Baz! My daughter decided we should play a X-Wing skirmish, so that is the reason for the background (just watched SW Rebels) .
