    Default Welcome to Miscmini's hangar

Welcome to my hangar. It might look a bit sparse right now but that's because I haven't moved all of my stuff into it yet. In 2014 I started my business, Miscellaneous Miniatures, LLC, as a building and painting service for models and miniatures. In 2016 I added decal design, printing, and sales to the business. My webstore is located at http://shop.miscmini.com/

What you can expect to see in the hangar are decals that are ready for sale, ideas and decals in development, finished models, and maybe some model kits or reference materials.

I'm very interested in learning what interests this community in the way of decals and models. My interests in aviation span most eras. Behind the commissions I'm working through, I've thousands of models, miniatures, and ideas in various stages of completion - or just languishing, waiting for time. Your conversation may help me focus my efforts and result in my getting some of those projects to the light of day and completion.

I welcome feedback on my products. I do care about the feedback, since I am the company's only employee, I'm responsible and accountable.

Feel free to respond in the threads or via PMs.

Yes Steve, my store's international postage option needs some work. Until I get that fixed, I can take overseas requests through PMs or e-mail orders@miscmini.com

I'll see what I can do to increase the number of British and German sets available. I've created and printed test sets for the following but haven't conducted a test fitting yet:
    Whirlwind - 263 Squadron
    Hurricane I - 145 Squadron
    Hurricane IID - 6 Squadron
    Spitfire I/II - 92 Squadron
    Buffalo - 67 Squadron

Nice to see the Hangar! I think Kevin does great work. I am happy to show the items he has done for me. (Dauntless, Avengers, Hellcats, Helldivers, Betty, painting Merit models, Rufe, Me-109's, and zero's of 2 sorts).

    Thumbs up

Good Luck for the project Kevin. There is a need for specialist Decals.

    No British decals?

I note that you have sheets for the Aleutians. Any consideration for the RCAF planes that flew there?

    RCAF 111 F Squadron.com

This might get me to do up a few planes in the Pacific Theatre...

Mike, odds are good that I'll make some of those. I've references for some RCAF P-40s in AK. I've also got some decals in the works for the Whirlwind, Hurricanes I and IID, Mustang Ia, Spitfire I/II, and the mighty Buffalo.

Kevin, did you deliberately wait until 2 days after I finished my Whirlwinds to announce that? Guess I'll have to buy a few more then....

I'll drop you a PM about my order.

92 Squadron 1/200 scale decal status - I expect to apply test decals to an AIM model this week. I could have sets available as early as next week depending on how they fit and look.

For 92 Squadron - Are there any requests for particular aircraft? I'm looking to create markings for 8, 12, or 16 aircraft.

As I'll be working with Spitfires, any nominations for two other Battle of Britain Spitfire squadrons?

Decals are always a welcome addition to repainting
How do you handle payment; I didn't see any mention on the site (haven't put an order in, so didn't go to check out).

    Default Methods of payment

Karl, through the webstore I can accept credit cards and PayPal. For transactions outside the webstore, PM/e-mail/mail/telephone, I can accept credit cards, PayPal, personal checks, money orders. Face-to-face I'll accept cash as well.

Thanks for bringing up the subject, I'll include payment methods in my next store update. Kevin
