    Default Hello

    Hello all,

A quick introduction and to say hello.

My name is James and I'm in Ayrshire, Scotland. I played WoW with both my Kids and a mate a good few years ago when he had bought some of the models and games boxes, however, gradually the children's interest waned and the games got fewer.
Now I have resurrected my interest after coming across an original game while browsing on a well known online auction site, i managed to snap it up along with a couple of planes, and in doing so I have also resurrected my eldest sons interest. I then gave him a WoG double starter set as a part of his Christmas present. So one match carried out so far and looking good for the future, he is already looking at building his collection up from the DR.I and the Camel.

    regards
    James

Good timing; The series 9 is still fairly reliably available, and we're coming up on the series 3 reprint.

Welcome James, good to see you are back in the cockpit. And it's great your son is back in the fold as well. My clan gets three generations around the table some days, ages 13 to 80. The knowledge and stories that are shared in addition to the game-play are just gold.

    Guys

Thanks for the very warm welcome, I shall mark up the Doncaster dates and try and make a point of getting there.
It is good having an opponent on Tap so to speak, and I have a better chance of winning versing him on the table top than when I was versing him on the Xbox, on there its a forgone conclusion i get beaten.
I have already been on and ordered up some Gimbal mounts from the Aerodrome to get the 'banking' look into my game, that and a visit to 'Shapeways' 'Amazon' and 'ebay' in the last day means the postman is going to be busy in the New Year, better get the airbrush fired up.
Happy New Year to you all when it arrives in your time zone.

    Again, thanks for the welcome.
