An invaluable site for repaints and WWI aviation history in general needs help.

Help us save a bit of history!

wwiaviation.com is a pictoral history of World War One told through Drawings , photos, and articles. The site has been active since 1998 providing education and entertainment to students, model makers, and schools. Recently we lost all our computers and thousands of documents. It has crippled our publishing and forced us to see if we can crowd source our project which has provided much information to others. We need to replace the two lost computers which will cost $1200 each and provide funds for hosting and registar fees.

We have been an advertiser free website because we do not believe it is good to mix educational material with ads. I hope we can solve our problems and back operational early in the new year. So I come to you hat in hand and ask if others would become patrons for a worthwhile project.

Thank you for your time and attention. It has been my life's work and I have not written about or drawn everything I need to.

Good catch Zoe! I'll be donating once I get back home today. In the mean time, I've moved this thread to the N&A section to give it a more prominent spot where it will not fall down the list as fast.
