I might as well just pre-order the whole thing right now.

I worked out how many of the series 3 reprints I need (want) for repaints and the number is scary.

DOES ANYBODY HAVE AN IDEA WHEN THESE WILL COME OUT!

Haven't you learned by now not to hold your breath on things? And oh by the way, all-caps is generally considered SHOUTING...

OK, I'll put the Clue-Bat away now...

From the timing of previous releases I would say June-July 2017.

Well if that holds true, I would think some production pics would be coming soon.

I am especially happy about more DIII's and Nieuports!! - Come on Ares!

I only have nine Albatros D.IIIs, six of which are F-Toys, I need so many more

I just have to work out what repaint job I will be doing on my existing F-Toys Frommherz miniature.

I'm new on your forum, and I was wondering how do you know the lits of future reprints from Ares Games.
On their website, I don't see this information in "Recent and Upcoming releases". Where do you find it ?

  12. #212

We obviously know the next new series number Franck; this thread is about the next release which will be a reprint of Series 3 (Nexus) so we know what aircraft will be modelled & due the close relationship some members have with Ares & the games designer we get a heads up on what paint schemes these will have.
They tend to print a new release followed by a reprint - next due for WW1 is a reprint.

    OK that's clear.
So I'm waiting for July 2017 in order to get some out-of-print WAW airplane models at a reasonable price after the reprint.

I was just informed by Ares that Series 3 is scheduled for a "May/early June" release. I should receive the sales sheets from Ares this week and they will be up on the AA site pre-orders probably next week sometime. I have to figure out what to offer for the pre-order special.

I am wondering if they will include Ace cards. I thought the ones in series 9 added some excitement to the game play.

  36. #236

Gary, I'll ask Rob at Ares--if they do, I hope they also offer a "make-up pack" so us who own the originals can get the new cards without having to totally replace our original minis.
