Thread: ME262 Schwalbe

  1. #1

    Default ME262 Schwalbe

Been playing around with this from Andrzej's thread using the E deck slow and the R deck for the ME262 movement.

Placed it all on 1 card.

The measurements for the card should be 19cm (h) x 15cm (w). (working on 1cm=43kmph)

My printer has gone westminster and wont scan, so apologies it's all a bit in the fog.

    Not much of a sideslip?

Didn't put in the severe side slip from the R deck but can do if you think it warrants it. The slight side slips are made combining the E deck plus the R deck and are the same degree and length when laid together.

OK I've amended post 1 with version 2, is that better?

I've started work on individual cards, using the width of the fast plane cards. Probably won't finish them until I get back from Antwerp though.

My idea Steve was to have a normal sized set of cards which you use to pick mneuvers but play them off 1 card as in the examples above.

I've also noted I missed the stall white line off v3.

I would have thought that a card that size would prove difficult to use when trying to use with a lot of planes in a small space. But to each his own.

Based on my reading, esp. data from FW, it wasn't much of a sideslipper. Might do better to take the R deck, and expand it by 1.26. Leave out the extreme SS. Also, since it's roll rate s***ked, maybe use the HR I proposed for the P-38: it can't go from a turn or SS to an opposite turn or SS without a straight in between.
