Well, Andy, I hope your journey goes well, if not on time.

And this girl isn't as good looking as the usual one I see in images you post.

After an hour delay the plane took off and landed safely in Nottingham. Rob and Eileen were waiting for me at the airport.
On the way to Doncaster we stopped right in the Sherwood Forest for a refreshig walk.
In the evening Rob, Paul, Neil and me with a great help from Eileen and Karen set up the venue, placed tables, hanged the national flags and... gathered the prizes!

You are so lucky to be able to flit here and there in Europe with relative ease and expense. From where I am very expensive to go to Europe.

Yes, Matt's magnificent work is a special prize. The "Commitee" discussed the criteria yesterday.

The first day is coming to an end after 4 gaming sessions on 3 tables. Lots of fun, shot down planes sunk ships and laugh.
Just one shot from the last scenario Lancasters' Raid - a real sport.
Flying a pair of 262s I managed to score 3 Lancasters and 2 P-51s at the cost of 1 Schwalbe in the last turn. Never had such a devastating luck in WoG gaming so far (blowing my own trumpet).

Luck? I think not. Unless the damage draws were all zeros on your part, Andy.

You really know how to fly planes. I did the shot analysis (how many times a plane has guns on target) for one of our Skype games, and you outshot everyone by two to one.

    Way to go, Andy!

And SoG games were quite popular among participants. The ships and 3D terrain made the games really stunning.

Here is a picture of islands I made for another game. The islands are Gale Force9 terrain, large and small hills, for Flames of War. I just did some repainting and put some Woodland Scenic grass on them. Painted the area around the base blue and found that Tamiya flat base made the white waves hitting the shore.

It means the engines in his Camels are Bristols
