Nar! Spitfire Ale is the choice of Pilots (well perhaps not German or Japanese ones)

Oooh I'll have to look for the Red Baron
WOW didn't know there were so many with plane themes. For the best beers is a cold one that you enjoy drinking. I lost the photo of the one I posted some time back.
Would definitely like to try the Hurricane Best Bitter and Cask Ale
They all look soooo good!!!
I think I need a beer.....
Aviator is an awesome brewery in North Carolina south of Raleigh and it is run by pilots. Besides the brew pub they have a full restaurant, small swag shop with a stand up bar, and smaller eatery across the street from the large one. But the brew pub is the best. Out in the middle of no where with an eclectic crowd and wait staff it is a great place to hang out, I do it every time I’m in the area. The brewery tour is awesome; you can refill your glass as much as you want during the tour! Since I already brew I use the time to sample the current selection.
Oh, I also seem to remember the owner’s dad owns a craft brewery in the Tampa FL area.
Another impressive riposte Dave.

Well, it is difficult to find a beer with a flight theme here in Germany.
to find one for Sails of Glory would be no problem at all
But I found this one that could be the perfect beer for this place
"Die Reine Wahrheit" meaning... "the pure truth".
And "IST DIR DAS LEBEN AUCH ZU SÜSS" meaning... "Is life too sweet for you as well?"
They have two types.
One is an Imperial Stout with an alcohol content of 9,1% Vol. called "Nachtflug" (Nightflight)
and the second is an India Pale Ale called "Aufwind" (Updraft) with an alcohol content of 6,5 % Vol.
CHEEEERS
Another Zeppelin
And something posh to drink your Spitfire ale out of

That's a shame Carl, but i bet a number of those we have posted are the same.
Brands seem to come and go far more frequently these days.

I think that I have fixed it now, Barry, but I am puzzled because they were fine when I posted them initially.
Yes they show now, David.
I have tried of few of those - they're brewed to the north of me about 160 miles or so.
