Well all ready for tomorrow, really looking forward to seeing all you guys again and meeting some new ones. You never know it just might just be the day I see Tim playing SAILs!!!!!!!!
Our gathering is finished. The battles are done. Prizes given and we all had fun.
A big thank you to all who attended and for making it again a fantastic weekend, special thanks to Daniel, Kubajs, Andrzej and Paul for attending from overseas and making it a truelly international gathering.
We look forward to seeing you all and more at Doncaster 2017.
See you on the Dark Side......
I would like to add my thanks to Neil's, to the team who start work on the following years programme even before the current event finishes. To the donators of prizes, especially Roberto who on behalf of Ares did us proud again. To Chris (Hedeby) who did a lot of running about behind the scenes all year until he nearly bust. To Tim of the Banner for supplying all the Ace of Aces aircraft once again.(He is still there putting them away.)
To the worthy prize winners, and indeed all those who turned up to support the weekend, especially our special guests from overseas, some of whom were making the pilgrimage for the third year running.(We must be doing something right) and finally to the ladies behind the scenes who supported their menfolk.
To all of you a heartfelt thank you from your Wing Commander. You made me feel very humble.
Kyte.

As one of the usual overseas paticipants I would like to thank you, all English pilots, for your warm and cordial welcome - especially WingCo and his lovely wife Eileen - who made my stay in Blighty exceptional and memorable again. Those were the days and those were the games!
Please be sure I will report the details and impressions of my stay to my closest and friends.
Proud WW2 Doncaster 2016 Ace of Aces,
Andy.

Oh, no it wasn't!
What a fantastic weekend! I haven't laughed so much in ages.
I echo in full the sentiments expressed above - sincere thanks to all those who gathered together for fun, flying and a few bevvies.
Special thanks to our overseas guests, who I hope had as good a time as I did; to all those who organised, plotted, schemed and provided the necessary bits and pieces to make the games so enjoyable; thanks also go to those who generously provided the prizes.
Extra special thanks to Chris Hedeby, who once again caught more than his fair share of bullets in a great cause!
I have already booked my hotel for next year - looking forward to it immensely.
Proud WW1 Doncaster 2016 Ace of Aces,
Tim
