It is with great remorse to report that my older brother and friend Joe Richards Lord of Girth died on 03/30/2016 of post illness septic shock.
Joe's final flight log entry on this site was:
    http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/sho...-action-report
On the final picture of the 4 people during the award ceremony, Joe was on the middle left next to my younger brother John (who received the award).
This site and game was a love of Joe's and the topic of hours of conversation between us.
His last entry demonstrated how much he enjoyed organizing aerial battles that ultimately brought together his friends and family.
I believe it has taken me the better half of the last 3 months to share Joe's, the Lord of Girth's, demise, because in some sense he was still with us sharing in spirit , fellowship, and the laugh with life approach that this site and game afforded.
The time has come for me to accept his loss, enjoy his memory, and honor Joe Richards The Lord of Girth:
Please join me in honoring Joe,
