Thread: London Play sheet?

    Default London Play sheet?

    Hi Chaps
Has anyone scanned the play sheets from the Giants of the sky bomber pack it would be great to have them printed on something more durable than the paper sheets supplied
You could then join the two sections together making one sheet without any risk of them tearing just a thought.

I have them on order, I'm probably going to get them laminated. I did that with the playsheets from Crimson Skies. Pretty cheap, makes them last a long time.

I have laminated mine, they will last forever.

I also got them to use matte laminate so they were not so shiny (bad for photography when recording the action for AAR's!).

Cost to much to laminate so went with Plexiglas to cover

I'm more concerned with figuring out how to make them lay flat. The London game mats are too special purpose (and don't join any mats except each other) to be released as a regular game mat.

Err, I think you've got your maps switched - the join at the opposite ends to the ones you have them joining at.

Also, where do you store the plexiglass? Our house has long since run out of storage.

    Hi Chaps
Thanks for the info great options for the sheets I was hoping to print the at 6’x4’ in one mat my local printer would do this on banner material so very hard wearing and long lasting I would also use the mat for a Battle of Briton game
I have done this for a number of sheets and it works well it is just getting the art work as a pdf or similar that is the issue

    Regards Kev

Andy has THREE mats shown; two correctly placed and then a third, which will not join correctly with either!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
