Welcome to the Drome Traysa. You should not have too long to wait as Andrea has things on the move again. In the meantime you can download most of the cards and rules from the files section.
Why not pop into the Report for Duty Forum and let everyone know you have landed.

I have a serious mini-addiction problem. Up to this point, I have had a list of planes that I wanted, and I stuck to the list when shopping. However, I noticed last weekend in SoCal that I will now buy a mini simply because I don't have it, rather than because I want it. I don't know how to stop...

Don't worry Brad. You will stop when you can't find any more planes! No wait a minute, Wings of War is now Wings of Glory with more planes coming out any day. You are totally lost my boy. Totally lost. You may as well now.

Currently sitting at 8 WW1 with about 10 in the post, that just leaves 2 that I want.
Will then look towards a couple of balloons and then wait for the WOG stuuf to start my WW2 collection.
Although I am tempted by a couple of bombers

    Just two words.....Help me!

I made the commitment to keep up with every release, and I grabbed as many 'Spares' as possible.

I know I will run into many new flyers that can't get the earlier series. Sometimes it helps to get them off the ground.

To heck with it, you only go 'round once.

If my brother in law is to be believed, they're quite good though. It's his favorite game store and usually visits them when he's in town.

    That's quite right!

Their choice in RPG books (both in French and English) and tabletop games is surprisingly large and, if you're lucky enough to talk to the owner (a bearded guy) in stead of the lady who replaces him when he's out, you get very good advice.
As I said, Antre-jeux is my FLGS.

The only drawback is the price: generally, even when taking the transport fees into account, on-line stores are cheaper...

Now, I need one more S.E5a and one more Pfalz...

Hello, my name is stan and I am a registered WOWaholic

I have eight more planes coming from a reformed WOWaholic who has gone to another addiction ( Dystopian War Naval ).
More result to the poll needs to go from 26-40 to lots more than 40 as I have also been a bad boy at shapeways.
Does anyone have a cure other than another addiction (I tried that but it just increased my WOW collection).

For those who are after the Nieuport 16's I have one of each that I am willing to part with, they are used and only come with the manouver deaks. Send me a PM.

You could try patches for this addiction. Just get your SWMBO to take away the little plastic patch that you use to order things with. It won't cure you but it will slow you down.

The poll needs to be expanded. I own 75 plus models. Will have alteast 125 by next year. It is nice to be retired and have time own my hands. I own mostly WoW WW1 and some F-toys and Reviesco. I like to repaint WoW models not into the kits because it takes me so long to build. With a bad right arm it is a struggle at times. Cheers

    Hi Guys,

as a subscriber to the Skytrex Miniatures newsletter I have just received an e-mail informing me that this weekend there will be 10% off all Skytrex miniatures. I am not sure whether this will be deducted automatically or if you have to claim it at the time of purchase, but I thought I'd let you all know. BTW I have no connection with Skytrex!

Well my eight planes turned up from a recovering WOWaholic,
and when I bought them i only knew the types not the pilots and very lucky me,
five of the eight I didn't have including
    a Albatros DIII Brumowski,
    an Ellwood Camel,
    and a MvR Dr1.
SWMBO finally got me down from the ceiling and calmed my breathing with a paper bag.

This last weekend I received 2 DVII's and a Dr.I from Australia. Once again, thank you Daniel. The only planes that I am missing now are the Richtoffen Dr.1 and Goring's DVII. The only doubles that I have are the American DH. 4, Barker's Snipe and Nungesser's Nieuport. I also have a few F-toys SPAD VII's.

My LGS has a smallish/medium stock of mostly two seaters ( that I've been whittling down little by little the past few months). They had an awesome "Black Friday" sale so I picked up four more birds, and I didn't even get pepper sprayed! That brings my total of Nexus planes to 39+ 1 balloon.

  43. #343

    Default

Due to the Fantasy Flight Games $5 Holiday Sale, I just bought 17 planes, most of which I had decided I would NEVER buy! Then I just HAD to buy the last several planes I didn't have to complete both colletions, including the hideous pink & gray Roland and Kuznetsov Hawker Hurricane

  44. #344

    Default Noooo...

I've told myself (several times) - No more buying planes unless you really need them to be able to play a particular scenario! (Ok, you can buy a couple of bombers when they come out, just to see what they're like but that's it - You've got to restrain yourself!)

And what's the first thing I do when finding myself in the neighborhood of my LGS? - Of course I pop in and buy a bunch of two seaters I don't need, that's what. And to top it off, I buy a couple of WWII minis - Which is just stupid, since I don't really play WWII.

Were they on sale at least? - No.
    I'm just weak, that's all.

I have to admit that I have purchased more aircraft for this game than I have flown sorties in the past two years. All my WW1 collection is currently painted and ready for action. I still have 20+ WW2 miniatures to finish before they will hit the mat, but they are sitting there waiting their turn.

I am currently writing a series of historical scenarios and intend in the future run a series of WW2 campaigns, hence the variety of aircraft. With all the new stuff coming from Armaments in Miniature and Shapeways my WW2 collection will be rapidly increasing in size!
