1. Cdr. John Dayton orders low fuel landing drills
2. The 2 section formation slows for Jenkins to close it up
3. Ltjg. Pete Jenkins had been the last to take off
4. The flight is ordered into landing configuration (Pete 1st)
5. Pete pegs his landing on the 2nd attempt
6. Pete could see that Colin was waived off for his 2nd attempt
7. Lt. Hank Renault lands shortly after Colin's miss
8. Ltjg. Colin Duffy has missed 2 with fuel for only 1 more attempt
9. Pete is lowered to the hangar deck below
10. Dayton sets his 1st and last approach (FUEL); and is worried for Colin
11. After landing, Dayton signaled the ground crew to push him port
12. This one was going to be tight because of Colin
13. at least Colin caught the hook this time
14. but barely missed Dayton's wing tip in the process
15. As Colin stopped, he looked to a smiling Dayton
16. The XO was waiting for Dayton and ordered him to the bridge
17. All aircraft on deck without a scratch (Pete below deck)
18. The men never knew the complete and utter reprimand/chewing Dayton took for Colin that day
