A company in Kanas makes kits for WW1 planes; most are 7/8th scale, so the you don't need a pilot's license to fly one.
If I was 20 years younger, and had money for the hanger rental.....

1) Same problem as Naharaht.
2) Dr.Is are rubbish flying machines -- slow, unstable, and generally not-at-all-fun to fly. (Good Fighters rarely make good flyers.)
