I am sorry to hear that you have these health problems Dale, and as Flash says, that you will soon be back to full health.
Take it easy and we will look forward to hearing of your exploits whenever you decide the time is right.

Hey Dale, chin up buddy. That's a lot to deal with I know, but lets assume you will be back to a good state of health again in the near future Cheers
Look forward to your AARs as and when - there is no deadline!
    Take care now,
    Mike

Hang tough Dale. I am sorry to hear about your health issues at the present. Stay positive as much as you can. Hoping soon it will turn brighter for you. We'll be here for you whenever you drop by until you can get back in the cockpit.

Default WW1 German Navy Wound Badges

I was doing some research on the Marinefliegerkorps and discovered the Kaiserliche Marine actually produced their own versions of the wound badge - the Verwundetenabzeichen für Angehörige der Marine or simply Marineverwundetenabzeichen.

The award was first established by Royal Decree on the 3rd March 1918 and published in the Army Gazette (Armee-Verordungsblatt) for 9 March 1918. Kaiser Wilhelm II* created the Army Wound Badge stating - "In extraordinary appreciation I wish to confer a special badge of recognition on all soldiers who have been wounded (lost blood) for the Fatherland and those who have lost their health during service against the enemy and have been invalided from service." On 24th June 1918 the Kaiser introduced the Naval Wound Badge, which was to be awarded in the same grades as the Army and under the same regulations.

    Default D8 Chart Correction - N deck

Hi chaps - if you are using my D8 charts I have made a correction to the N deck, had two steeps together in 2 Closing 8/9, hard left followed by broad side slip.
I have posted new chart as v.3 here in the files
Came across it for the first time in the last game, if you see any others please let me know so I may correct them. Cheers Dave

I think I have seen a couple of "illegals" but thought we just let the AI get away with the odd one. Will let you know in future.

Was a bit of a washout compared to last year, very windy for most of our stay too but managed to get to Golitha Falls, the Cheesewring, St Michael's Mount & saw the Fisherman's Friends at Port Isaac so that kept the ladies happy. Even got some reasonable surf to play in so that kept me happy too.

Yikes, the final countdown! It makes it look like were are near the end, but we have a year of new scenarios to go before we start to figure out whats next.

Thanks for what you (and Uncle!) do to keep these campaigns chugging along. I'm sure we are all in agreement in that you should get a medal for running these campaigns.

    BB401 Checking In.

Gents, it probably appears that I have gone MIA from a WGF perspective since the start of summer. Things are starting to slow down a bit so I will begin the process of catching up in the coming weeks. I am already pondering the parameters for the October mission.

As to where I have been rather than at the table executing missions, I'll share a few photos.

Seems Mike is happy to swap if needed Baz so I will switch you chaps around if that's OK with the two of you - Jan for Mar.
Late July is an exciting time as it sees the introduction of the Fokker E.V, July also sees the Pfalz D.XII (if you have some) and the return of the SSD.III
