Magnificent!
Now, why is there no string of bomb explosions behind that Staaken?
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Nicely displayed, Andrzej!
Should I start a 1/200 V2 and try to hit your dining room table?
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
That is a definite option - perfect fit for your table too Andy !

...oh this mini V2 would have only a range of 1,25 km.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Thanks for sharing your fantastic table with us! I just have one question... how are you going to get into my home?
Oooh that's good Andrzej, that's very good indeed
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Very nice mat!
Great table Andy. Will you and the family be eating fish and chips tonight on it?
That looks splendid, Andy! Did you do anything to the mats to get them to flatten out, or did you simply place the plexi-glass over top?
All the best,
Matt
Awesome excellent work.
That looks magic, Andy.
Stunning,make your dreams come true,,,,sweet!
That looks great Andy
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Thank you chaps, I am really happy how it turned out.
To answer some of your questions:
1. No Peter, no fish neither chips were allowed till the maps were laid out
2. I had the mats ironed and then rolled in a tube foir some days. But it did not make the folding lines disappear. On the other hand, they are just slightly visible under the plexi.
3. The plexi surface is a very convenient and perfectly smooth playing ground, although my sleeved cards are often hard to pick up.
And most of all I played a bombing mission on the table with my wife and daughter yesterday's night!
And we had a blast! The AAR will follow shortly.

Great maps Andy , I feel a BoB mission coming on.
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
Very very nice!
I have had a quick cast about the t'internet & could cover a pair of maps with a 3mm acrylic for about Ł36 (so far) so doable project.

I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Those look really great, Andrzej!
Andrzej,
it looks quite superb..........
and with the another thread........
the barrage balloons included would look quite superb
an idea for a future show perhaps......?
Well done sir
Maverick
Simon,
thanks
The playground fits superbly WGF as well as BoB airfights.
And more - it would serve as a default city for these purposes!
Ballons would be perfect, you are right.
Must look for some WWII UK designs...
