    Nice Pics Dave, thanks.
My giddy aunt but aren't the big boys HUGE.
I have one in my front room, but I haven't got it to the attic for some table time yet.
Seeing two dwarfing the RAFs finest is an awesome sight!

    Sometimes we do!

I believe we have next weekend off, then 3 consecutive weekends, supporting 4 shows (Hammerhead, Abingdon, WMMS and Triples).

    Great photos David!
A couple of comments: What a great collection of Jasta 18 birds in that hanger.
I noticed no sign of wing gaps in either the blue or lozenge Straken wings.

No, that can not be WingCo. Can not believe he was flying someone else's kite.

    Thanks for the report, Dave.

That one belonged to one of the punters (top left pic 9 taking photo on his phone), it was switched on and lit up but that may not come across in the pic, he was shot to ribbons and on fire but still attacked - good man !!
As for a who's who - pic 1 Tim - Flying Helmut - on left in the flying helmet; Right, in foreground is Steve - Guntruck- ; behind him is a punter called Rod who escorted my RE8 on that side of the field; In the right foreground is punter Adrian aka OkYaa on the forum who shot down my RE8 on his side of the field. He and Ajay handed me 13 damage at +1 between them in one phase.... ouch !
Andy aka Ajay is in right of shot of pic 3, there are two punters to his right who were very interested in the models & the game, we didn't manage to persuade them to play though.
I am in pic 5 instructing the young lady who then went on and used my new Fok D.VII as a blunt instrument in a number of collisions with the gent to my right ! She did get to set the balloon on fire before getting shot down though.

Fantastic pictures Dave. Well done to all involved.

Staakens - one thing I noticed was the top wing join on the blue version is not as noticeable or pronounced as on the camouflaged version.

Next stop ... Hammerhead 2016 & Overlord (Abingdon) the following day!

I shall add mine to the pile - have to apologise that the coverage was spotty and I didn't take many as my camera started playing up - think it's worn out from all those OTT AAR !

Table ready for action ! Tim makes the salute, Ajay to the left, DM and OKyaa in the background.

Mission 1 - one of my RE8's over target taking the photo - Ajay's E.V in hot pursuit, so hot he's smoking, Adrian's Tripe can be seen closing in in the background and Guntruck's Camel in the foreground trying to get me out of trouble !

    Name: SAM_7174.JPG

Over the other target my second RE8 is closing on the target and Tim's infamous Fok D.VII Steffi is smoking hot too as it tries to see off Rods Camel that was covering me on that side of the table.

The fatal damage shown in the second row at +1 - 6 points from Ajay & 5 from Adrian to finish me off...
And it had all been going so well !!

The second RE8 managed to mostly elude Steffi with Rods assistance and interference and got away with its precious photo's.

Having engaged them closely one of the punters discovers the dangers of attacking them from behind and staggers away trailing flame and smoke. That's my Spad XIII in the right foreground (wishing I'd picked the Spad XII Ca1 at this point !)

I Immelled as I passed the Giant and opened fire at point blank range.... 2 x Pilot special damage cards scored, much grumbling from the pilot when he resolved them as four gunners downed ... Get some !!

I flew out in front (giggling) as I was immune from any gunfire & prepared to Immel once more !!

I roared back in and set the monster on fire with this pass - get in !

I was really happy until I went past the beast and the surviving gunner dealt me a second pilot wound and down I went, my camera went tits up in celebration of this so we will have to rely on Tim's photo prowess to capture my demise... the good news is that fire damage took the beast in the end but others contributed further damage too.. The second one got away... bigger table next year methinks !!

    Thanks you for watching !

Up gunned is the way to go Chris. An up gunned "Biff" is even more effective than my up gunned Dolphin.

I think a Cotton & Betts DH4 might make an impression too but a challenge to use as no Immel in its deck. I found the Spad XIII quite effective when over using the Immel, up until he shot my pilot dead that is !

SE5a 'B' shoots down the Triplane - just two of us attackers left!

A GERMAN VICTORY - but at such a cost! Two late-joining RAF scouts made it a big ask for the Huns! Three AA hits didn't help either, but luckily two were '0' cards.

We stopped the game at this point, rather than have the four RAF scouts massacre my Hannover, because it was time to fetch out the Giants!!!
