Early Korea would be a nice follow on from '45. Some cross over of aircraft. Be nice to see how that would tie in with the early Jets from Post WW2.
I would also like to thank Keith for creating another part of the Forum dedicated to Post WW2 combat.

Shapeways can provide a few interesing types, like early Skyraiders and Maulers for example. Might be worth pursuing.

It would probably be best to start going down the 1:350 road for this. One lots of models available, and the arrow lengths may be manageable at that scale. In 1:200 I've been working on a deck for the Me.262, and the straight for that is around 12cm. If you were to get a properly fast jet like a Sabre doing 700mph, the cards would be huge.
Ok, both the Sabre & Mig-15 were just shy of 700mph each, so working it out for Wings of Glory 1:200, that would be 17.65cm for the fast straight. Keeping the same scaling for distance, but adjusting for 1:350 would be 7.2cm, slightly more manageable.

We do Korea with 1:300th so cards work relatively well for the jets.
Speak to Merlin 45 (Doug) if you want more details.

We can shrink the card size down without shrinking down the planes. Probably down a third. Base sizes might get to be an issue insofar as being stable for the models, though.
Having problems finding exactly what the Korean People's Army Air Force had at the start (135-180 planes), but it seems that they included Lavochkin La-7 and Ilyushin Il-10 planes.
UN planes would include F-51s, F-82s, Corsairs B-26s (ex-A-26s) and B-29s. F-80s as early jets, as well as Meteor Mk.IIIs (I think).
