Foam for making storage trays

Hi,
I want to make some foam trays for storing my models. I'd like to use the sort of foam that is used in commercially available storage, so that the models don't snag on the foam. Anyone know what that foam is called?

I am wondering if it is the type of foam used for soundproofing?

In the past I have used the blue foam that they use to insulate caravans.
Unfortunately I have no contact for the firm I got it from. You can power saw it and Dremel or Router the slots out.
