Default Getting into WWII and some newbie questions

Played WWI a few years ago and loved it. Another friend wants to try some WWII combat now. We are getting planes and rules together and plan on trying this weekend. Does anyone know of any videos of how to do bombing missions? We are getting some bombers Just can't seem to understand it from the rule books. Also we are wanting some more ME BF 109's and we only have one. Are these just not available anymore? Thanks for any help.

Hi Park, download this doc from the files section - hopefully it will help explain all you need for your bombing needs.
And yes, Me109's are no longer produced and as rare as rocking horse poo !

Hi Park. If you take a look at the following guide you should find the different bombing missions which WGS has on offer in it:

    http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/sho...uits-and-Bumps

Makes a good read as an introduction to WGS as well as I know myself how in places the Rulebook is unclear or poorly translated making it a headache for new players to understand.

The Messerschmitt Bf.109E was manufactured by Nexus Games as a Wings of War not by Ares Games for Wings of Glory. They have been out of production for some years now and unless pricey they are hard to find these days. However it is not all unfavourable news: Ares are about to release a Messerschmitt Bf.109K as part of WGS Series 6.

Anything else you either need or can think of you are most welcome to ask

If you have the time to do your own painting armaments in miniatures has WWII planes in 1/200 scale available, you just won't have the movement cards for them, but those should be available in the files section on this sight.

Teaticket maintains a list of planes available from various designers, myself included on Shapeways. Here is the sticky thread on it: http://www.wingsofwar.org/forums/sho...s-on-Shapeways
I do believe there are a few Bf.109s done so far.
