Great stuff here, Rob! Always good to see the 'same view' from a different perspective...

Those were some massive games you had there - the Operation Pedestal and Battle of Britain games pics are certainly impressive. Glad you had a lovely time

    All the best,
    Matt

Fantastic photos Sir ... The Battle of Britain game looks enormous! We missed that on the Sunday but you have caught this very well on camera. Thanks for posting

The only problem was that because I was engaged in a game all the time this year, I inevitably missed some of the action on other tables. Because of involvement in Pedestal, i did not see any of the Frigate race for instance.
So thanks very much for the rest of you chaps for filling in the gaps.

BoB games this year were absolutely special. Paul AKA tikkifriend (my very best friend) devised a brainburning scenario with Ju 52 flying a secret mission with changing goals we enjoyed so much! Well done Paul (cough, cough, I won a gold Spitfire badge, cough, cough) ; what are you preparing for Doncaster 2016?

Really wish we had been able to see the BoB games for real - that Junkers Ju-52 scenario would have been very interesting to play.

Have admitted on another thread that it wasn't actually early start / medication that stopped us from coming back on Sunday but what's turned out to be a bad outbreak of gout in my hands / wrists. This is a side-effect of my medication & has happened before - but what awful timing on this occasion!

Have been thinking back to three ideas I had as to potential Donny games but I can't find the thread I wrote about them in. But I have found the 'Study Your Adversary' scenario scribbled and mapped out in my diary - with notes made after the WingCo suggested ways in which this could be broadened out and spiced up into a suitable game - thank you Sir. It says here it played very nicely with the Wife flying a Beaufighter ...

    Thank goodness for notebooks!
