    Cheers Dave.
It certainly covers a gap in my photos of the event, and also thanks for the cold which has just developed yesterday. I said I would take the chance when we spoke. Well it was not bon chance as it turned out.

Mazzle is gutted that we missed XH558 flying nearby to the event - what a fantastic take of the Vulcan on camera! Was this on the Sunday by any chance please?

A nice selection of photos showing SoG in motion especially. Hopefully soon I'll get a chance to experience an SoG game (or two maybe ) to say I have played and experienced it

No problem at all - can imagine how this happened as my phone has that facility on it as well. There have been a few occasions where I wished that it didn't ...

The Vulcan was flying Saturday. I nipped over to Robin Hood Airport to see her take off for the Southport air show. One of the people I was chatting to suggested I wait to see her return, and that was a good call as we had a rather nice impromptu display with a fast pass down the runway and a touch and go before she finally set down.

They also had a hangar open day on the Sunday

If that was a Hangar Tour on the Sunday then these are WELL worth looking at. Not all that pricey either. They can be booked through the Vulcan To The Sky Trust website ... Went on one towards the tail-end of last year that IMHO was well worth what was paid for it. Though we were not allowed on board the aircraft the chance to look up the acs (access) ladder hatch into the aircraft interior and to stand underneath with the bomb bay doors open were there. There is a 30 minute talk which suits both historians and those with an aviation knowledge alike. I'd recommend this without hesitating ...

Sorry to hear your story, Chris. I hope you and other infected chaps are getting better now.
But have you noticed F.O. Kyte and Nightbomber stayed healthy and Manley Flu was never a real danger for them?
    You know why?
GIN we were consuming on Saturday is the cure. Learn that lesson well before our next games, pilots. Never get in the air sober. Avoid such hazard at all costs!

Being teetotal and drinking orange juice all saturday night must have given me a vitamin C boost as I have dodged the bout of Man-ley flu also.
