Hedeby runs East, towards the German lines (), then corrects himself and flies North.
Dave and Mike give up the chase (they're too far away) but Brambo and I chase him down.

Hedeby's SE5a is faster, but by running North, then West, he is travelling much further than his pursuers, who cut NorthWest and close the range!

A timely reminder to all you young German pilots not to take on Houdini Hedeby in any aircraft or even Zeppelin, especially if he gets his Bristol out.

This looks absolutely fantastic - a great advertisement for some of what is to come this weekend. The playing atmosphere must also have been fantastic as I note who was involved in this game.

Looking forward to meeting everybody this weekend

No similar footage to promote the WGS side of being at Donny too? I'll bring my camera though am happy to play WGF & Sails too as well as WGS if spaces are available.

Sir ... More amazing pictures depicting another amazing game. I now cannot wait to attend my first Donny in under two days' time

Sorry if I came across as a bit pernickety there: Not my intention - I just feel that if anybody else is looking at this and it's their first Donny too then both WGF and WGS can now be seen in action.

    Just as an aside:

    1. At Doncaster 2014/Kanohe Bay who shot down the B17 & destroyed their primary and secondary targets?

    2. At Doncaster 2014/Coral Bay who sank the Yorktown?

    3. At Doncaster 2014/Taranto who torpedoed the Italian battleship Littorio and the cruiser Bolzano?

Well she's back! Just hope your on her side............DeadlyM.

Yes escaped with only a couple of millimeters to spare - I had ONE HIT POINT left as well. But fundamental flaw of the the SE5a - NO REAR GUNNER !!!!
    Very tense finish
