Coming down is the hardest thing
Paul phone Chris for my mobile number. Give me a call tomorrow.
Neil
See you on the Dark Side......
Chris (Boney): Did you contact Stafford Games with directions? Only I got an email from him today asking where the venue was. He knows now, so hopefully we will see Roland on Sunday, so save your pennies chaps.
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Thank you for the Admissions information - will be there as planned at the correct time on Saturday
My mobile phone # 0048 602382081.
See you tomorrow.
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
I have a 'Countryside' Game Mat which I will bring. Do you need it for Friday set-up or will first thing Saturday be good enough? Also if you can let me know before 18.30 hours tonight I possibly could borrow 3 more from my club. Yes I know! I should have mentioned this earlier.
Been a bit busy building a card 28mm scale Coliseum for our Gladiators campaign game at my club, 1 section done with only 15 more to go. My winter project which I'm already starting to regret as the first section has taken me nearly 2 weeks of spare time. Still, on the bright side nobody at the club knows I'm doing it so if I fail to get it finished for the start of the 2016 season nobody will know.
Friday set up would be good. More we can get done the better on Friday night.
Neil
See you on the Dark Side......
If I can get there on Friday evening I will, depends on what SWIMBO says when I suggest yet more time away from her. Will let you know in about 45 mins. If i do come along Friday can I be added to the dinner list?
Dinner night is Saturday Reg not Friday.
See you on the Dark Side......
Nice work John - assume you guys are camping up again? hopefully the M1 won't be such an utter bitch this year
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Please may we keep our fingers quietly crossed that my plan regarding what Mazzle and I will be wearing on Saturday isn't about to backfire ... She's sorted it's what I was hoping to wear that will hopefully arrive in the post tomorrow!
If it doesn't then 50% of the plan will still go ahead and I'll be forced to wear one of my pilots shirts (wrong colour for starters!) Wanting to wear something different to the P-47 top as I wore that to Hammerhead 2015 - if my plan doesn't backfire then this could be quite spectacular!
PS - Also hoping M1 will be kind to everyone including us over the weekend ...

We should be setting off earlier this year, hopefully we will arrive before 7pm.
I have a number for Bill, so I should be able to get in ok.
Nick (CodEyes) is also camping this year.
Did Nick manage to liberate the ale - or are we all off to ASDA?
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Right I'm signing off - I hope everyone has a calm and safe journey - watch out for the little yellow police money boxes on the M1 (junctions 28-33).
Drive carefully those who have to, and I look forward to seeing some of you tomorrow and all of you on Saturday.
Bon Voyage !!! and remember your Bristols can never be overgunned..

Well actually just me and Mrs CodEyes are nicely ensconced in our caravan on the large flat grassy area in front of the museum.
I think we are an added attraction for Joe Public. Might have to put a sign out asking them not to feed the inmates! Unless of course it's BEER

Anyone arrived at the Premier Inn heading to the watering hole next door, just done a recce, no familiar faces and its starting to fill up.
I know Guntruck here but dont know which room
Just finished my last of a week of 12 hour day shifts and sitting down to a nice Chinese and the rugby. See you jolly chaps in the morning. Really looking forward to the weekend.
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow Carl. Enjoy that Chinese of yours - and safe journey
Finally made it to Doncaster after a tortuous journey. Apologies to Chris for increasing the chauffeuring load this evening. See everyone in the morning.
Glad you are there safely Neil - looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. Get your feet up and make yourself a brew as they say
Just arrived after a rather tortuous journey via Stow and Warwick (!). Lemsips are taking effect so it head down for me and I'll see you at brekkie (I'll be down about 0730).
Have brought musical accompaniment for the BoB and SGN games
What time is kick-off at the museum?
David, glad you are there safely. You'll need to put your feet up and make yourself a cuppa after that journey.
I was advised 09:15 for things starting off tomorrow but I'm going to be there for 08:45 - 09:00 just in case.
Excellent - looks like that brekkie is going to get a hammering!
Signing off for today - gotta get some rest before tomorrow: See everyone then
Good luck with the events over the weekend everybody.
May the cards and chits be favourable and don't forget to "check your six".
Oh, hang on, that's a different game....
So the Five-a-side (actually four-a-side) end up with a clean sweep to the Entente pilots. Congrats to Reg on getting 2.5 kills and commiserations to Barnaby on being the first to hit the deck, due to an unfortunate collision.
Thanks to all the players for a fun first game. A cracking start to the weekend.
- Neil.
Can't believe I was the last German plane standing in that game. A somewhat sitting duck against four British planes
Day 1 brilliant. massive Aceof Aces battle in the afternoon and a fantastic WW1 ground and air combat run by Andy in the morning. Mr Manley confined to quarentine due to Lassa Fever but still sailing the 7 seas.
More fun and games today and a nice man from Stafford Games coming over to help us spend some money

Ladies and Gentlemen who were in attendance at this great event. Can I just say thank you so much for welcoming me into your ranks and what a fantastic weekend it was. Iam absolutely blown away with the luck and good fortune which descended upon me which allowed me to walk away as Ace of Aces.
Kudos to all the organizers and hosts of the games which were run and it was a pleasure to meet everyone and end the weekend with so many new friends.
"Down and Safe!"
Finally got back to my home airfield, after negotiating congested "skies" on the jolly old M1.
Many thanks to all involved in the best weekend's gaming I have ever had.
Will complete a more comprehensive report after a few hours kip!
