looking for jasta 13 and 18 decals

Does anyone have information on where I can find these jasta decals or any other jastas for DVII's

Hi Rick, currently there is not a sheet of decals depicting these two Jastas.

Have a look at the AA decals , also 1/144 direct on eBay , for some individual pilots from the units.
For my versions of both .i used a mixture of the above plus I made my own, take a look at the Jasta thread in the painting showcase.
I do have these on a word doc if you would like and want to make your own, PM me your email.

These are Jasta 40s, with a few also used in Jasta 7, aren't they? Carl Degelow et al.?

The preceding post, with Schafer's snake and von Beaulieu-Marconnay's 'LD' in white on blue are Jasta 18 before the "Berthold swap", and Jasta 15 afterwards.


For Jasta 13, there are only a few bits and pieces available. Franz Buchner's scheme appears on a decal sheet by Mehusla, 1/144 direct on ebay

Valom have a set for Paul Wolff in their Fokker DVII twin kit pack


Johannes Fritsche had a simple white 'F', Ltn d R Griem a simple white 'G' on the fuselage

Both letters are available from 1/144 direct on a sheet of white capital letters (slightly different font, though)
(Fritsche had left Jasta 13 by the time Wolff joined, so they cannot be used together)


For Jasta 18 Fokker DVIIs (red/white) there is a decal sheet available, but only rarely!
A chap called Larry at Digidecals produced a small sheet, carrying black and white ravens, and black skulls, chicks and three-point-stars to facilitate Raben, Monnington, von Buren and Kustner




He recently re-designed the sheet, so it now includes 3 more pilot schemes, including tail stripes as well

I have only seen this sheet for sale on ebay ONCE, about 6 months ago, and I bought it!!! Larry usually goes a few months between listings. His ebay name is "hurricane2plane".
