Wowzer! Now that is some Jasta 18. I did not know they had two-seaters! Very nice!
They had a Hanover CL - it is not known whether it was a CL.II or a CL.III - it is in the far background on a Jasta line-up in a period photograph taken at Montingen in mid 1918 (with Fokker D.VIIs).
The captured DH4 is more fully recorded...
The DH4 A7703 was an ex-55 Squadron machine, forced down on 30th August 1918 (possibly by August Raben himself).
Taken to the Jasta 18 airfield at Montingen, it was repainted in full "Staffel Raben" colours (but probably DIDN'T carry the black raven - it is absent on all surviving photographs).
