Anyone heard of this happening before?

Last night at our Games Club Dal Gaven, Halvo & myself introduced an older chap Jack to WoG WW1

Dal & I flew the Huns with a Halberstadt D.II & Albatross D.II while Chris & Jack flew Spad VII's. One A firing & 1 a B firing.
During the course of the second game Jack copped 3 fire cards in 2 turns .
One from my D.II & two from Dal's Halberstadt's B gun.
Surprisingly he actually survived the continual A fire damage by drawing many 0's but finally fell to my Albatross.

Has anyone had an Aircraft cop so many fire cards in such a short time & survived the fire?

That chap must have been a hot one
The most unusual set of damage cards I have ever gotten were two 2s plus rudder jams left and right in the same drawing (at Doncaster last year).

I have indeed a lot of knowledge about Fire damage.(Thanks for reminding me Tim)
Only once have I been on fire three times in one game, but never more than twice at the same time.
The best I can do is on fire twice and smoking at the same time.
In such extremis as you describe Baz, I can recommend an overdive at the earliest opportunity.

Best I can do is three planes catching fire and one smoking in the same exchange of fire - but one plane with three fire cards in effect, that's really unfortunate
