Hi Guys I've just made a metal Fokker Eindecker , suitable to use with WOG, alas I'm short of a "Flash" paint job (Bad planning on my part), has anyone got a picture of an Eindecker which is more colourful than plain Beige or Green?

Sadly Drew in real life they were only CDL, green or light grey to my knowledge.
You could always paint it up in a mythical pilots scheme.
However Ernst Udet flew a CDL one with a Black & mid blue diagonal stripe on the fuselage . If you google images for him you should be able to find a picture.
Good Luck.
Try here, sorry for the long ip address.

See you on the Dark Side......
Take a look at my avatar and signature. It's 'Papa' Rauschke Eindecker LF70 (Naval E.I)
Nobody actually knows the colours used on his aircraft and there are two trains of though. That as he was a naval pilot and flew for an experimental unit the colours matched the blue grey of future naval aircraft, or that it was trialing other forms of camo and optical camo (The strange lines of the camo scheme designed to throw off the aim of enemy pilots)
Here is the alternative scheme although I personally don't thing it was as the colour on the fuselage, tail plane and where the wings join are all the same tone, the outer tips are a darker colour and so I would probably go with the original train of thought of purple, green, cdl.
However as everyone has said, the exact colours still remain a mystery.
You can see how other people have treated the problem here Drew.
