I may be wrong here Barry but that looks like a Hurricane to me? Beautiful pic either way!

Hurricane MK.II - but nice picture.

Nothing you want to see if you're driving an Axis supply truck spring 1943 in Tunesia.
    Voilą le soleil d'Austerlitz!

Funny you should both say that as I too thought it looked like a "Hurry" but it was posted on the Spitfire page & listed as a Spit.
Just goes to show you cant trust what's put up on the Net!

    Baz.

Could be Peter Bouncer Smythe or Ronnie Sanderson flying that.

Golden 'Duh' Award for this one thinks me! Well spotted as a Hawker Hurricane Mk IIC and thanks for drawing to our attention on here. Yep: Definitely a Hawker Hurricane.

Similar quandary spotted during 2013 where same again but the original poster of four 'Avro Lancaster' photos is who scored this Perfect Dud (HP Halifax B I x 3 and B III x 1!) Utterly hilarious - will try and find again / provide a link

Anyway back to the world of Hawker Humdrums and Westland Whippets go I for now ...
