Hmm tough decision, both the Mk I and Mk III are so cool!

I'm pulling up a chair and breaking out the popcorn, too, David! This is going to be loverly - are you planning on doing some of EVERY British bomber in WW2? You certainly have a nice start here.

    All the best,
    Matt

When seen like that all laid out it makes one realize just how many parts go into making even a WW2 bird Dave.

Now that we have the Lancasters, the Halifax would be a most welcome follow up. Keep up the good work sir

Pouring over the Halifax molds this evening . . .

Four times two is eight Halifaxians, two still in the mold matrix . . .

    And what's this a half dozen stowaway ME-109s! Bonus . . .

Now for the trim elves . . .

I just noted something in the pictures of the assembled wooden models. Shouldn't the Mk.I have the Merlins and the Mk.III the Hercules engines?

Very good eye! The wing units are inter-chngeable and got swapped during the fun! : )

That means that you get a Mk.II, if you file off the radar from the Mk.III fuselage and combine with Merlins?

Yikes! You are figuring out my madness! This bird has a lot of options and I did the mold and chose the details so it could be configured to just the right version, there are a number of colors and I am intrigued by the idea of glider tugs on both sides for other options.

Ummm....David; I don't think the Halifaxs' will think those Bf-109s to be friendly
