That is true, the announcement is not turning up flashing even when you start at the main pageIt should be something like breaking news passing through the screen

Found it on the green "Important Announcement" bar just below the blue Menu bar.

You see the green banner if you go to the Aerodrome page without an automatic login.
Mostly I have auto-login - so no banner for me.

At some point, I closed the announcement bar while logged in; now it shows up when I go to the home page, and disappears when I log in. Sven might have you done that?

The really annoying thing is that Mrs K has it fine when she logs in.

As my first year participating in the Lend-Lease process, I'm looking forward to whatever the Herr Oberst throws at us! Tickets bought for this year...and I picked up last year's coin after the fact - another commemmorating this year would be nifty
