    Were do you guys get etched details for the home made bases?

    Are you referring to the Colonel's Aerodrome Accessories bases?

    The etched details are lasered into the bases when they are cut.

    If not this, please explain what you are referring to when you say 'home made'

    Yeap thats the answer. Now we have to wait to buy them I guess, but I was kinda hoping for that they were decales of some sort

    It's not that difficult to fill the lines/numbers in. Crayons are recommended, but I used acrylic paint and carefully wiped off the excess. I also printed aircraft names and stats on decal sheet and added these to the base.

    Only problem is that Im kinda picky when it come to the details. The laser cut ones looks like the real deal. And when it comes to paint I have a full battle company of Warhammer 40.000 mintures to work on

    Yes, the details are etched on the bases and crayons work great for coloring them in... and it never comes off. I hope to have the Scout bases back up this week some time.
