Please may I request two badges - one for myself and the other for the Wife.

We are definitely still coming along in some shape size and form - would not miss this event for the world.

Nearer the time I should be able to offer some form of Introduction to WGS set up which would primarily involve two aircraft charging around a 90 cm x 90 cm gaming mat. Tried and tested format which can be played using Basic or Normal Rules aimed at members of the public who have never played before ... Will hopefully by then have been used at FLGS to demonstrate WGS to members of the public and could therefore come in handy as a tool to distract kids who have never played before from getting involved in games where Miniatures contrary to their belief are not toys / stock cars! Special sub-fleet of Minis being assembled for this purpose as we speak. Thinks me who played on the WGS table at Hammerhead 2015 with what turned out to be Ł40s-worth of Me Bf.109 but there again I had and knew how to treat such models / Minis belonging to others with respect having my own aircraft model collection at the time ... If I just follow this with 'know what I mean' somebody will hopefully say yes.

Note: This is my 500th Posting on the Aerodrome!

Arse. Premier inn east has messed up my booking for the 19th Sept. Had to get in the Lakeside one a bit further away.

That is very remiss of them.
Are they now fully booked for that weekend then Carl?

Rob according to Premier Inn East and a few others I checked, practically every hotel in a 5 mile radius is fully booked for that weekend. Think I was lucky rearranging accomodation for the Lakeside one.

At least its only a shortish walk from Inn East after galivanting with you fine chaps on saturday night.

Thanks for that info Carl. At least it will mean that if we get any late enquirers I won't be sending them on a wild goose chase.

A short walk in the fresh air might be the ticket for a good few of us on Saturday night.

Chris is working out the details for Fridays gaming and with Captain Kiwi we have 8 players not booked into a game for Saturday so we should be full on.

I have a venue lined up for Friday night - and yours truly will provide taxi service from the hotels to the venue (its not far by car so can do a couple of runs if necessary).
Let everyone arrive grab a bite to eat then go game for a few hours, will see if I can have a bar on site as well (depending on availability of a weekend licence), if not we can take our own (well non drivers, lol).
No end time on this one, so wee small hours if required - but we will all need to be bright eyed and bushy tailed for the official fun and games later that morning)...

No worries, will have to spread a bit of doom & gloom at work first so I've programmed my alarm (aka SWMBO) for 6.30 am
