Yeah a little bit of light so the guys can see the floor
Someone should start making these as a flash-light key chain.

The Havoc was not the most manoeuvrable of aircraft, and the Hurri pilots got dazzled by the light more often than not.

    So cool!

    What's that +1 for?

Combi cockpit for WGF & WGS?
    Voilà le soleil d'Austerlitz!

  7. #207

    Thank you.
Yes Sven it is a combo cockpit that should embrace almost everything we can play.
I will post a little "how to" later when i have time to scan some cards

I am glad you like it despite the falling Meschschschmit (most likely just an engine failure ...)

The Spitfire is one of my favourite WGS minis.

The dark smoke is only a distraction. When hitting the channel waters the Messerschmitt transforms into a submarine and continues fighthing against Royal Navy ships.

If someone of you who are coming over to Prague happened to buy more Nexus starters/fire from the skies (and so you have spare counters), would you be willing to bring those 3 to me please? Thanks you.
I found an incomplete copy of the game to borrow some counters, but it is so incomplete that it just has a few fuel counters... I do not giove up, I will search further. Promised.

Sven may be right. So I think in order to prevent that deadly transformation we need another version of the cockpit with the Emil exploding in the air.
    Kind of special "Boom-Boom" version.

    Guys,

do have any idea about schedule? When we will start on Friday? I'll probably have to plan tightly, so such info would be of great help. Thanks!

  22. #222

    Default

I think 16:00 would be OK, but that depends mostly on the Prague group.

  24. #224

    Default

We can meet at 16:00 but it is gonna take us some time to shake hands and prepare the Friday missions, so Nemanja and Jelena entering scene at 17:00 sounds just fine to me

Also, Nemanja can actually enter towards the end of the first mission and start grim reaping the souls, hahahaha.

Not yet. But we are seriously considering to double the number of the explosion cards and counters. Our dearest friend Sven really got used to double blasts in one drawing, recently. We should comfort him as much as we can.

Maybe just simple Sven's Special deck - Booms only

We can divide the deck in small (standart) booms and heavy booms that set all planes in one ruler distance of me aflame.

The German delegation will arrive at 1 pm at Prague main station - check in at 2 pm - eat something and will reach Ladinek's shop between 3 pm & 4 pm by tram.

No problem if we have to wait for other gamers welcome and reunion with the comrades will take time.

Depart is planed for 5 pm at Sunday. So we have time - like last year - for a few sidematches at Sunday.

I have to coordinate this a little bit with our lunch, otherwise we'll form two columns and reunite just in front of Landinek's shop.

We were testing Zdenek's mission yesterday and it is very simple, yet fun. You have even mixtures of E.III/Halby and DH/Bullet having a time limited dogfight.
The thing is that you score points for hits (even for zeros):
    - One point for a long range hit
    - two points for a short range hit and
    - additional two points for a shotdown

You can resurrect your airplanes and put them back into play (next planning phase) within one ruler distance from your edge and min. one and half ruler away from the nearest opponent. The side with the more points wins. In case of a tie, the side with more shotdowns wins.

For testing we used 2x E.III + 2x Halby agains 2x Pusherduck + 2x Bullet. In one hour me and Zdenek beat Michal and Lukas 26 to 22.

The Czech Republik is still the center of innovation in Europe.

Sounds like a nice & easy gaming option.

Seems I'll use my Fokker E.III instead of the bus for the trip to the Summer Con.

(So Zdenek hosts a game or a big mission with all gamers at the Con?)

I found the "4+engine damage" under my working table. Probably my little man played around with them . I still need that "1" and "2" A damage though.

Just spotted this. I'm actually arriving 1pm on the Thursday. Will do a bit of the Aviation museum in the afternoon, and finish off Friday morning. Should get back to the Botel by 1pm (or beer o'clock )

    Perfect, Steve.

Maybe my fellow Huns will be a little be nervous if infantry from the Essex Regiment already occupies the Hotel ship at our arrival, but this shouldn't be a problem. Just feed them with beer, play a polka and everything is ok.
