Zdenek of our team has printed out two beautiful game mats - Malta and African desert, both in 98/139cm format. They will be stored in Ladinek's so you don't have to carry those over unless you want to

Great news, Jan We will drink to Zdenek health (off the mats)
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
So, any hotel recommendations then?
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Are you coming over? That is great Steve . Guys usually stay in a Botel near the centre, i am sure they will tell you all the details.
Steve, there are some options according to my experience (these are justr two): Bologna Residence at Konviktska Street, where me and David Manley stayed in 2013 or Botel Racek, where recently Sven, Thomas and me stayed last year and we liked the place very much (perfect for me especially - free parking place).
I am sure the Czech colleaugues will be of help.
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
For you guys who are coming over and who are planning to host a mission:
After the mission has been prepared, could you please put a brief info, here like
- WWI/WWII
- theatre
- name
- number of players ...
So we can slowly start working on the schedule
Thank you
Honza

Doubled my Lancaster squadron with another "Grog's the Shot & Dambuster".
So we have enough targets for the Augsburg Raid.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
The same time I read some literature, so I can develop my mission as historical as possible.
We'll see "Schräge Musik" with a special D-damage token set without the zeros. (so min. damage is 5)
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Second pair of Lancasters arrived yesterday in Bavaria.
Bus tickets for Prague for 3 Hun pilots booked today.
The switches for Prague Summer Con are set.
I have a big request for our Summer Con organisators:
"Will it be possible to make a reservation for Saturday evening in a restaurant* for a common dinner?"
*a location that do not close the doors at 23:00h?
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
That may be a task, but we can thing something out
My wife is due in late May, i hope the baby waits in the belly until after we have been done with our thing hahaha.
Sven's idea with restaurant is strongly supported here
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
And here
Roger that!
Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
Guys i found out i have been missing 3 "A" hit counters . It is "1", "2" and "4+engine damage".
If someone of you who are coming over to Prague happened to buy more Nexus starters/fire from the skies (and so you have spare counters), would you be willing to bring those 3 to me please? Thanks you.
The old Nexus A damgage set had:
19 x 0
16 x 1
16 x 2
7 x 3
2 x 4
3 x 1 with special damage
4 x 2 with special damage
3 x 3 with special damage
1 x 4 with special damage
1 explosion
In my dawn of war & fire from the sky card game set are no spare counters.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Somtimes a few damage counters flip under the plastic inlay in the gaming box if you transported it upside down or on the side.
Just a chance that they're still there.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
I will check my stuff to see if I have some spare counters.
I am looking for a Dawn of War box to exchange with whatever you want (mine was destroyed - I mean a first edition WW2 cards only box with the old "Dawn of wWar" title).
All the best!
That would be great Andrea, thank you. I feel incomplete, hahaha. They most likely just dropped under the table and were vacuum cleaned afterwards.
I would like to prepare a night patrol mission that incorporates the special night rules posted here.
We have to give it yet a few goes first. I'd say 6 players may about the right number.
I've been recently thinking about omitting speeds and letting the player in the Attack mode choose at the time he uses a maneuver. There would be an Iniciative held by each side for one turn (it would change sides each turn - ala A&A), and holders of the token would choose first.
Just something different.

Bravo Jan!
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Nice - so we would have two night fight missions.
I have 4 Lancasters now. (2x Grogs - 2x Dambuster)
1 Ju88
3 Bf.110
1 Beaufighter
1 Mosquito
2 FW 190 A6 "Wilde Sau"
This night fight cockpit looks very nice.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Thank you guys, our wing member Michal has repainted one night camo Hurricane, and i am gonna paint one or two. This is a nice opportunity to incorporate Czech pilots, as we had some good night fighters - namingly that would be Karel Kuttelwasher and his Night Reaper Hurry.
The Hurri might come handy Steve, bring it over please. Thank you.
