Received this today. Looks like there will be another Lancaster in the air at some time.

That's got to be as good as it gets until no 3 is airworthy Bob.
Unfortunately the Canadian Lanc will be back home long before that happens.

Quite simple, really:
Each unit also has a "ghost" card -- a plane card which is blank, or otherwise not the actual plane. Both plane and ghost maneuver as normal; only when an opponent is able to get a shot off at the unit is it revealed to be the actual plane, or the ghost. If the ghost is targeted, remove it from the board and replace it atop the actual plane; on subsequent maneuvers, plane and ghost are moved separately.
Haven't yet worked out radar-equipped units -- I think the r-e unit should be able to look at a card in its forward arc, regardless of range, to see if it's a plane or a ghost.
I think some folks are off the track here. I am talking about a 3rd REAL Lancaster that is being restored. Nothing to do with the planes that will be out in November. I think because of the mention of the Bf 110 NF some have equated this to the minis in the game.
