Very nice Neil, been thinking of doing some early Fokkers myself. Thanks for sharing.
Another nice piece of work there Neil
Nice work Neil,
so long as it crashes, who cares about flash or bang?
I've got 3 more in my que. We'll just make so many that you can't burn them all!
Beautiful!
great detail.
I have one more that needs painting up but could only find one image of the Fokker D.I every search results brings up the pesky Dr.I
Very nice James !
I concur with Dave James.
Very tastefully done.

Silver and white..... I LIKE IT SIR!
James would it be possible to post the pic of your plane, actual one it is based on. I want to get another couple but that is the only design I could find out there. Now with Rob's we have 3.
See you on the Dark Side......
Nice, I got a Fokker D2 in cammo but like the canvas one
Well she has been sat patiently on my workbench since August so I thought I would give her something special and decided to paint her up in the colours of Lt Rauschke (LandFlugzeug 70) some may remember my Fokker E.III in those colours.
As those were the colours of one of the main characters in my OTT Early Doors Campaign I thought I would transfer them to the this aircraft to give some continuity to the scheme and game.
The model is a Shapeways Fokker D.I and the decals were homemade.
Side by side with her predecessor Fokker E.III
Some great work on this thread! I have a pair of Fokker D.IIs on the way, this will help inspired me. One will be an overall medium blue, flown by Josef Jacobs. The other will be green and brown camo.
Excellent painting job, guys! Very nice miniatures
And very good they look too James.
That is a really smart livery.

Rob,
I think I will do one of my remaining Albatros in the same livery.
One can find very interesting paint schemes and elaborate pieces here. Congratulations!
Yes, I very much look forward to seeing that too James.

Like that D.I, Peter!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Peter, I look forward to seeing this little Fokker in the your AAR for the upcoming campaign.
Very nice!
Great work, Neil, James and Peter!
Here is a picture of Boelcke's Fokker D.I (& his Fokker D.III).
Here is a picture of a Turkish one.

Thanks all.
David, thanks for the profiles. I have to make the decals for the Fokker id #s. I have a DIII in the queue so this will come in handy for Bolcke's planes. I like the Turkish one too. Might have to save a plane for that.
Very nice indeed Peter I'm looking forward to seeing more
Nice work, Peter. Rep gun jammed but it is deserved. Look forward to seeing more of these in action in the OTT campaign.
Nice stuff by all. May get to see some of them one day.
Nice work, Peter. I like the darker hue best I think.
Now I see why you're back on the right side in the upcoming CYM Campaign.
Can't have these all be targets ...
I think we all stand a good chance of being a target of the AI.
Your planes will be fun to see in the AAR no matter if they're targets or shooters.
I'm skipping the Fokker D.I as I haven't used my Fokker E.III. So I will go from the E.III to Halberstadt D.III, which I'm working on at the moment. Never had problems with homemade decals sticking until these little Halbers.
