Default - Booster Packs for Sale

    Hey, WWII Players,

I just swung by the not-so-local gaming store on the way to Enfilade 2014. He hadn't sold any of his stock since I had been there last year. So, I asked him if he would make me a killer deal on the whole lot. The best he could do was 30% off. I took everything.

Besides the WWII planes, I picked up a few WWI Booster Packs:

Recon Patrol (D and K Maneuver Decks) No Longer Available
Recon Patrol (D and K Maneuver Decks) No Longer Available
Recon Patrol (D and K Maneuver Decks) No Longer Available
Note: Triplane cards are now out-of-date, using the new U Deck

Top Fighters (L and M Maneuver Decks) SOLD

If anyone is interested, please PM. Shipping will be extra, as I'm not making any money on these.

[Edit: Shipping for one or two packs is about $7.30 USD for the Continental US. As low as $7.20 USD for international surface mail (4-6 weeks)]

Hmmm... Recently read that you can fly Sopwith Camels or Snipes using “D" decks to represent Sopwith Pups.

Does this make these booster packs more useful?

Needs a 90degree left turn for Pups (which the standard D deck doesn't have.

Pretty! So, I'll have to add in an extra card... Hmmm... perhaps a modified MATES card, too.

PS: I have some sleeved decks from the Famous Aces boxed set. So, just need to print and overlap one of the cards. Cool.

So, where does this extra turn come from, BTW?

    Mike,

For my use it's not extra, it replaces (temporarily) a 90* right turn in the D deck if using the Pup. The site search engine limitation not being able to search words of 3 characters or less makes it harder to find info, but this was the main thread I followed:
    Sopwith Pup

There are a lot of dispersed threads but here is an earlier one with some discussion:

Flash has a thread where he test runs Sopwith Pups with a D* deck. One of the 90 degree right turns is removed and replaced with one 90 degree left turn. I have constructed a few of these, but I need to get some paint on my Sopwith Pups. The cards are also in this thread. You can save the image and print it out.

I am going to print this off and glue it over the 'hand-drawn felt tip maker overwrite of the R90 cards' that the fellow who sold me the Pups made.

As you will have seen this has been discussed since 2013, if not before but it's not an extra turn, it's a substitute. I tested it out in this thread and the D* deck worked well. Following this experiment a number of people adopted it and I created a D* chart for my D8 solo rules for those that use them in OTT.

A good workaround for that is to search google using site:wingsofwar.org in the search text, like this:
