    Great work John.
Are you hiring any of Clippers Elves by any chance?

Nice touch with the observer firing downward. This one is obviously anxious for his first kill!

It was your new designs for observers, I thought 'these figures have long bodies, what can they do?'
I've just made some legs for one, so I can have a Lewis gunner standing in a Caudron G4.
You keep designing stuff, we'll keep modifying it

    Yes! I agree.
You have done a good job there Tim. Single flat colours are always more difficult to get looking good on a stippled surface.

Here is my 1st Rumpler CI. The usual blue-grey so not to copy Tim's nice grey bird. Hope to get a pilot and gunner in there soon. I have a canvas one like John's in the works.

    Very nice indeed.

A little dry brushing adds just a hint of highlighting that I like when the model has the topography.

Yes, lots of colors to pick from Neil. I'm working on an off white/buff version (4) and then will do the green/purple one.(5)

Oooh...I like No5, especially the black and white diagonals, do you have an overhead of this one for the wing pattern (is it green/purple like the fuselage?) and diagonals (do they go over the top frame and down the other side or just the other side).

Thats the only one I have. I'm going with the same green/purple pattern on the wing tops.

What's stopping you?... other than the 1000 and 1 projects you and the Elves are working on?

Quite constrained plumage when compared to your usual colour schemes Peter, but a fine job nevertheless.
    Keep up the good work.

Thanks Rob, I liked the look of the 4th plane in the set I posted earlier. Now to start #5.

Don't worry, this one may be calm but I have a wild beast heading to the EIII thread momentarily.

This is the pic I took the design off. Made a guess that the stripes went up and over in a continuous line. Figured the purple and green was on the upper parts of the wing and to add a Peter Pig pilot does fit under the wing and into the front cockpit. Missed taking that picture but the model does have a pilot. Hopefully the rear gunner will be added as soon as my order form shapeways arrives.
    The model designer is colinwe.
    Green: Citadel Catachan Green.
    Purple: Citadel Liche Purple.
Blue: Vallejo model colour sky blue.
Engine: Black dry brushed silver with citadel tin bits for pipe.
