Hate the horrible Albatros DVa undercarriage? Kampfflieger has just designed replacements! They are now listed in the WGF and Accessories lists and 'HERE'.
OH MY GOODNESS ! ! This would have been SO great when I was doing repaints! Fantastic! Brilliant!
Gallo Rojo (Ezekiel) Asked Roman Vasyliev to make them. See his comparison 'HERE'.
A few new WWI models by Daryl aka RAF. HP 0/1500, Albatros C.III Benz and Meercedes, and more.
WGS list update. I just found on Shapeways someone that designed a Short Sunderland in 1/200. Not cheap at $36.10 at least it is now available. Other new designers too in 1/144 and 1/200.
Received an email from Shapeways today -
"Coming Soon: STOCKTOBER SALE!
Get ready to stock up and save 10% off your own model* from October 8 to 11. Look out for an email tomorrow with the discount code (terms and conditions apply; see below).
Why not get a head start? Upload your own 3D model now!"
Won't be using it myself, but perhaps some others might............................
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
FYI:
The promotion is good for 10% off on your next order of at least $150 USD before taxes and VAT..........
Just had a small update on all 3 lists.
I see Shapeways has a much better search tool than when I started these lists. Do people search using the Shapeways tool or my lists? Just wondering if I should keep updating my lists.
Thanks Daryl, good to hear. As for prices, I don't keep them all up to date. That would be a full time job! When I add in a few planes I'll update some of the prices but not all. As you say, Shapeways prices sway in the breeze. I am assuming people use the lists as the visits to the post are quite high. I'll have to keep track each week to get a feel for frequency of visits.
I use your lists Peter, quite a lot actually Perhaps it would be easier for you if the price column was removed altogether and replaced with a note advising everyone that prices are on each web page. Anyway, thanks for what you do, it really is a great help.
I use your list as well, not often but it was invaluable the first time round, I'm just looking to order some more, depending on the price.
Cheers
Your list is invaluable, especially with the protracted release schedule of Ares. Thanks to you and your partners everything needed for current and future players is always available, just a few coats of paint and some decals away! Thanks for preserving our future!
Thanks for the support guys. I'll keep this thread going until I see the hits on it die off.
Some new items in accessories list, subs, ships and balloons. New Nieuport 10s in WGF from Daryl. (RAF)

Peter, you may want to add this to the list. Kaja's Models and Machinations on Shapeways has a Borodin-Class Battleship in 1/700 scale. Only five were built and four were lost in the Russo-Japanese war, but one did serve in WWI. It is pricey $41.50 in WSF.
So how many books are in your personal library?
Thanks Robert. I'll put this on the Accessories list.
His 1/1250 version isn't too bad at $18.00.

Just updated the WGS list. New (to me) designer shop Giorgio's Planes by Giorgio Montagner.
Just updated the WGF list with Daryl's Gotha G.IV and Halberstadts.
2 more design entries to hit 600!
Occasionally I do a Google search for 1/600 and/or 1/700 scale freighters to use as targets in WGF. I found a Shapeways shop called Bill's Models which has quite a large selection of suitable subjects. These are the World War I ships I came across:
1/600 Scale 3000 DW ton Cargo Steamer Atlantus
1/600 Scale 3500 DW ton Cargo Steamer Apalachee
1/600 Scale 3525 ton Steel Cargo Ship Lake A
1/600 Scale 4160 ton Steel Cargo Ship Graphite
1/600 Scale 4200 ton Steel Cargo Ship Costilla
1/600 Scale 4200 ton Steel Cargo Ship Sapor
1/700 Scale 3000 DW ton Cargo Steamer Atlantus
1/700 Scale 3500 DW ton Cargo Steamer Apalachee
1/700 Scale 3500 ton Cargo Steamer Quinneseco
1/700 Scale 3525 Ton Steel Cargo Ship Lake A Desig
1/700 Scale 3700 ton Steel Cargo Ship Cadaretta
1/700 Scale 4000 ton Wood Cargo Ship Clackamas 192
1/700 Scale 4000 ton Wood Cargo Ship Wishkah
1/700 Scale 4200 ton Steel Cargo Ship Costilla
1/700 Scale 4200 ton Steel Cargo Ship Sapor
1/700 Scale 5075 ton Steel Cargo Steamer Alamosa
1/700 Scale 5100 ton steel cargo steamer Nanquitt
1/700 Scale 6000 ton steel cargo steamer Ozaukee
1/700 Scale 6000 ton steel tank steamer Dannedaike
Check the prices carefully. Sometimes the listing has the most expensive material listed, but other choices may be available. I believe the plans for all of these ships and many others are located on this webpage.

Thanks for the info Robert. I do have some ships on my accessories list but not of this designer. I'll have to add these to the list tonight.
Blowing my own trumpet here
I use the same source for plans but only have 3 or 4 WW1 designs in my shop https://www.shapeways.com/shops/deca...26+1%3A700&s=0
- his are less detailed, more expensive and the hull shape doesn't look quite right
His Ferris - http://shpws.me/Ri6g - I see at about Ł19 whereas my model of the same ship http://shpws.me/RqiB WSF 1/700 is about Ł15
and a big plus for those of you with 3D printers - a few of mine are free at 1/350 scale (can be resized) https://www.thingiverse.com/decapod/designs
So how many books are in your personal library?
WWI list up to 669 entries!
It's hard to complain that there isn't enough selection! Thanks for keeping the list up to date.
When I first did this list you couldn't easily search on Shapeways. It is a lot better now but I think this list is easier as I have all the designers (I can find) in one place with planes in alphabetical order.
You are amazing at churning out designs and have over 300 on my list. Hope I have them all.
Came across a book on Amazon with plans for British trawlers used in WWI and WWII. A search on Shapeways yields the following:
2 Mersey Class Trawlers 1/600 or 1/700, SNAFU Store
1 Castle Class Armed Trawler 1/350, Classic Airships
1 Strath Class Armed Trawler 1/350, Classic Airships
The last two are a bit large for my tastes, but should be useful to the Cruel Seas crowd.
So how many books are in your personal library?
Not sure how you want to add this store, as he has 5 pages of ships, each (at least the ones I checked) with several scales. I think he's fairly new, as I haven't run across him before in my searches.
https://www.shapeways.com/shops/3d-ships
I ordered some waterline U-boats, a brace of freighters, and some escorts in 1.1800 scale. I'll let you know how they look.
But (in the future purchase category) he has a Graf Zeppelin CV!

Nice designer Karl. As with Roberts above, I have put the link to their shop pages on the Accessoreis List. The organization of Shapeways is so much better now than when I first did these lists I can (I think) get away with just putting a link to the whole shop. When I have more time I will pick out individual items that might be more sought after for out gaming/target needs.
