Put me down as 'tentative'. Having shoulder surgery in November, so it will depend on how the healing goes.
I have only dabbled in WGS so far, so am not up to snuff with the finer points.
We have a brief for the attacks on RAF coastal airfilds still to be played.

Sign me up for the Brill cream boys any way.

1. Build 7 Japanese laser cut buildings. Completed
2. Paint the remaining Bolt Action Germans (20+ infantry, Tiger I & II, PAK 40) Completed
3. Finish off special project no 1 now I have the missing part! (Cheers Neil aka Sparky for coming to the rescue). 2 of 3 Completed
4. Finish off the aircraft for China 1938 at Doncaster. Completed
5. Paint the other 100+ aircraft I need painting. 65 Completed
6. 3 whole corps of 15mm Confederates and 1 corps of Union troops. 1/2 Union Corps completed
7. Finish off my 15mm Roman and Carthaginian armies. Carthaginian cavalry and some Roman infantry left to do.
8. Re-base and finish off my 6mm German and Allied units.
9. Put together the bits for the 1/200 Ryujo project.
PS: Mind you I did build an 18ft x 6ft D Day terrain board, paint nearly 400 figures, 12 landing craft, 12 vehicles, beach defences (36ft barbed wire, 125 hedgehogs, 8 bunkers, 36ft of trenches, telegrpah pole beach obstacles etc etc etc.
See you on the Dark Side......
Painting all those hedgehogs must have been a bugger with all those spines. Hope they didn't protest to much

Tempting... Very very tempting...
Maybe...
So 2 definites and 2 possibles, might improve.
I suppose it gives newbies a chance to kick in from the beginning Paul. plus concentrating on 1 campaign, like OTT, might be easier. Once BoB is out of the road we can then move onto Malta/Mediterranean. From there the Pacific, should keep us going for 2 to 3 years. lol.

Do you plan on using the original scenarios that have been used? Saves time on newbies and oldies thinking up a game.

I'm definitely in on the BoB campaign. I like the idea of starting at the beginning but will be good with however it goes.
The long hiatus between WWII Pacific products dampened my interest and I succumbed to the sirens call (and young son's urgings) to play X-Wing. I am happy to read about the exploits of dashing young men in the BoB!
Will this get off the ground?
|f it does I have been building up my BoB aircraft just in case.
However, I need to get my Daring young men finished first.

I'll set the Bob campaign up again.
No pressures, no set games per year or month.
List of scenarios to play through at your pace.
I'll go for a March 1st reboot.
The scenarios for the start will be those already posted, I'll Re-post them in a new thread.
If anyone would care to write scenarios to play then please feel free to do so.
I'll keep tabs as much as I can and update a new spreadsheet whenever I can.
Doesn't matter which side you fly for, choose a side, pick a squadron, name your pilots and fly the missions.
The broad parameters for writing scenarios will be the same, don't put specific dates just which part of the BoB they come under.
Players can play as often as they like, as little as they like. No time limit just have fun and enjoy playing the BoB.

See you on the Dark Side......
Should have enough scenarios from the last outing Neil, although its always good to have a few more to choose from.
Have we got a head count yet?
See Robs in for the shout.

Any number is good. No fixed finish time you just play through with your squadron at your pace. We're just providing a vehicle for people to play a BoB campaign.
See you on the Dark Side......
I like the self-paced system - that why I won't get stressed out trying to keep up with OTT.
Looking forward to giving this a go.
Of course, I have to get my aircraft ready first ....

How many names would I need? And do I need them for both sides?
This is sounding good. Been wanting to fly more BoB for some time. I'll be jumping on this when I get back from Cold Wars in mid-March. I'm also tempted to restart my Pacific campaign too.
I solved 5 missions of the fire in the skies campaign so far...
Will talk to my gaming buddy if he has interest in continuing the story.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
You can start with as many as you require. You could also create a full squadron but I would limit your squadron to a max of 12 pilots. Give a chance to put up a thread detailing bits and pieces. I will try and get something up in the next week or so but definitely before March 1st.
You will definitely require names for your squadron, whichever side you decide to fly for. As for opposition pilots you may if you wish name them for the sake of the 'story' (AAR) but it is not necessary.

Can you access the player sheet from the last campaign, in which case I will go with 56 and 64 squadrons.

In honour of Andy and the Polish Air-force, I would like to fly 303 Squadron please Neil. I can't guarantee to do every mission but will fly as many as I can. As you know I don't tend to fly against named proponents, so will just have some Polish and the odd English or Czech pilot in the mix.

Unfortunately the sheet from the last campaign was inactive that long I can no longer access it.
Something to remember for the future.
I'm closing this thread for now, please use the 2020 officers mess for the new BoB campaign please.
